Derek has more than 30 years International recruitment experience covering some 60 plus countries in the EMEA,APAC and LATAM regions. Fully conversant with all types of recruitment activity having both on-site and consultancy experience.
Derek lived in Poland for 2 years managing a shared resource centre of 30 persons undertaking resourcing and recruiting activities supporting recruiters in many countries. Has recruited for companies such as Microsoft,BT,Cisco SAP,Exodus and Ofcom. Sectors includes, IT-Internet,Software, Health, Telecoms, Govt- Regulator,Internet Services and Gaming. Prior to recruitment Derek has an earlier career in Operations and Finance having been the 1st Finance Manager for Cisco Systems in the UK and a partner in firm of accountants.
With an informal, practical and straight-talking approach with high energy levels he has built enduring relationships at all levels based on mutual trust, personal credibility and a passion for achieving the agreed results.
